Assessment and Learning current day is very much a colonized view and perspective. As a future teacher, it is important to recognize that first my students will all have different backgrounds, cultures, and upbringings. Not every person is the same and everybody learns differently. Some students may have test anxiety. Whereas other students may struggle with writing skills. That is why it is important to be open to other forms of assessment and leaning that are not “normally” offered in a school setting. This is what it means to Acknowledge ALL ways of knowing and being.
